Juli is a thoughtful colleague providing understanding and grace to all around her. She's funny and calm and reflective and makes us better professionals because of her insight. It's been an honor to work alongside her for 5 years and learn from her, not only professionally, (she's BRILLIANT as the people who know her know!) but also personally.
I have worked with Juli for over 20 years and it was a rare day that she didn’t do something great that surprised me. She has a rare mix of curiosity, competence, and dedication that makes her successful in everything that she does. I miss having her on my team.
What I appreciate most about Juli is her thoughtful, intentional approach to learning design. She has a real talent for creating experiences that are not only engaging but also grounded in solid instructional strategy. Juli brings a sharp analytical mindset to her work—she doesn’t just design content; she digs deep to understand the ‘why’ behind every decision. Her ability to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and balance creativity with structure makes her an asset to any learning team.
Over the five years of working with Juli, she consistently showed her thoughtfulness, expertise, and can-do attitude. She is able to grasp the dimensions around a project and always generate positive outcomes. And, her joie de vivre and strong interpersonal skills made our years of working together a pleasure.
When our district decided to switch to a new platform, there were very few resources to manage the migration. Seeing this need, Juli stepped up and offered to manage the process--and manage it, she did! Juli developed documentation, liaised with school administrators and district staff, created training for various website editors, built many of the pages herself, and left us with a wealth of how-to documents that many of us still reference regularly. She was an absolute lifesaver on this project, complete with a positive attitude and her signature can-do spirit!"
